So I bought me a new toy and joined the Olds side of the G body gang yesterday.

Little visit to uncle Donovan's to see the older cousins on the trip home. I believe he approved of my new toy.

Seeing as the regal is in bodywork prison and probably will be for a while (forever), I decided that I need a driver to play with.

This build is going to live here, because I'm not going to build anything on the car, its just getting horsepower in the form of boosted LS sloppy goodness. There is only one goal for this car, other than to burn fuel and make smiles, drive to the strip lay down a 9 second pass and drive home.

I'll update with the specs on the car later today, other than a cage itll do what I want. Now I have to rip a motor out of the regal.

Fun project. Looks like a roller?
Correct. Was a pretty serious 400 SBC/ 200R4 in its previous owners configuration.

What the hell is with those stripes? The Grand Prix Sheriff edition?
Lol. I dont know. Believe it or not but they are actually painted on. I kinda like the look, very retro.

I'm kinda retro too but I don't look so good. I do like the new ride though. Congrats.

IMO loose the stripes, too bad you can't just peel them off. I would like to see the vinyl gone too but that is just me.

Buys cheap 6.0 because why not
Finds cheap holley kit, hey it was a good deal

Buys another G body

This is how the world ends, not with a bang, but......

Hey I know the multiple G body ownership life :)

I vote for rough paint matching the star in and leaving the GP clone stripes.

I'm not emotionally prepared to attack another vinyl top removal just yet. The last one has been going for 2 years.

The star was the previous owners "covering" of a surface rust spot. Hahaha.

I dont feel like you guys truly appreciate the cheese factor this beauty has.
