What are you guys doing for wheel tubs to put a 315/60/15 tire on the car, Can't find anyone that makes kits for them. Thanks

Because they don't exist.

It’s not very hard to widen your existing tubs, if you have your frame notched.

I just purchased a set for my 85 Monte Carlo SS. I do not know the differences between the G-bodies with regards to the rear wheel tubs but Wild Rids Race Cars now sells a kit for G-bodies.

Thanks, I looked on there site and all I see are tubs for a f body. May not be updated yet.
I don't think they have updated the site yet. The images I attached were in an email they sent me when they first got them finished. I ordered a set and they look great.

+1 on the above post. What you will be doing is sectioning the inner wheel housing by cutting it just inboard of where it is welded to the outer one. Pick the flattest part of the housing and that will be where you make a longditudinal cut from front to back. Weapon of choice here varies; cut off wheel on angle grinder, air cut off wheel, or air saw.. Youi can even go hacksaw if you can find a short frame version that allows the blade to extend beyond the arms. You would then have to drill the spot welds that hold the inner housing to the trunk kick up along the bottom seam. That should give you the inner portions free and clear to set aside. At that point you have choices. You can make your own inserts to widen the housing assembly as much as you want but you will still have to contend with the rear frame kick-up and the trunk pan. You can go with those housing kits but, again, the space you gain is limited by the surrounding architecture unless you are going to pinch the frame rails. NOT suggesting that unless you know someone with serious how to knowledge and expertise in that department.

Thanks for the input, I got it cut out and going to have to cut the frame completely out for the 315"s to fit. I ordered the tub kit from Wild Rides race cars. So we will see how they fit on a wagon.
