I have some small marks from being to aggressive while removing original paint. Bare metal now has 2 coats of epoxy. I can see them only on certain angles. Maybe I can get a picture if needed. My question is will 2k primer surfacer cover these or should I use glaze?
Also next question has confused me for awhile. Body filler going over the epoxy then I'll spot prime with epoxy. Then 2k surfacer. But if I miss some dings or whatever, is it ok to use body filler over the 2k?
I've read yes and no so there's my confusion 🙃

you can putty over sanded 2k..will 2k fill those grind marks?with a decent amount of coats probally but why rely on primer to do the filler work when skimming those marks takes little time.is your 2k direct to metal?

Don't get me wrong the primers up to the task but if you don't have to. I can see if you miss something towards the end then sure another coat or two/blocking will be the ticket

The 2K is crazy sh*t. A couple of coats will really solve problems. And it is easily wet sanded to perfection.

Any particular reason you plan on only spot priming with epoxy? For the work involved to mask and shoot, and the small amount of epoxy product used, I wouldn’t bother with spot priming.
Do your filler work, lay down 2 coats of epoxy (over everything), then apply 3 coats of high build wet-on-wet.

Just my opinion.

My problem is impatience. I just did the roof. I don't know if I can get it both quarters and trunk areas done by 4 day window. I'll do the rest of the filler then as stated. Then lay final epoxy and 3 coats of high build.
