Need help! What line is this?

The line I circled was cut. It threads onto the sending unit versus clamped like the other two. Looks to be a type of rubber pressure hose that goes up to the curvy set on under the bed of the el camino. Can I just cut the threads off and clamp it? Or do I need to replace that whole line? Can’t find a replacement… any help would be appreciated!!!

is this a v6 or a v8? do you know if the elkie was v6 originally?

Saginaw fitting on the fuel sender??? Chances are originally fuel injected, depending if you’re keeping it fuel injected probably gonna dictate what you want to do.

That line end is crimped, indicates pressure. That line is larger indicates fuel outbound line. Smaller is return from pressure regulator. Other line looks to be vent/evap canister connection.

Was this originally a TBI engine? Supply line is usually 3/8 and return is 5/16. That's the common setup.

Is this a California emissions equipped Elky? Could be something specific to the California emissions for that year

back in the day, only v6's had TBI/FI, not v8's. that would seem to be the reason for the high-pressure lines

Yea, it’s an 85 v6 fuel injection model

Plan to keep it the v6 to fuel injected. Just can’t find a replacement line for it. Was just wondering if I could make it a clamped line with new fuel hose
