you need to push it in first, then unscrew and it should pop right out... somtimes the contacts oxidize inside the bulb holder, making it a little hard to get out. Once you have the bulb out i suggest you clean the bulb the best you can apply some Diaelectric grease to the contacts to make it...

dude that does sound like you have a supercharger really nice clean setup. i couldnt tell but im assuming the pulleys have an extra v-groove on the back for the power steering? Nice update

welcome to the site. i would assume the trim might have been attached like the el caminos where the had a stud sticking out then the molding was held on with some plastic clips. so they probably just removed the trim and grounded down the studs.

Thanks for info and that was the picture i was looking for. i think i might just paint the molding instead or seriously think about modify the window opening. btw i like your el camino with the camaro front end. you dont see that everyday.

you could also use a small curved picking tool and pry the tabs back and pull them out. then flatten the the washer and should be able to reuse.

So i was wondering if anybody has any pics of El caminos or g-bodies or any cars with the aluminum trim on the windshield/back window that has been deleted. i wonder how it looks. Also looking for pics of the bed rail aluminum trim deleted. i just saw a pic the other day but i cant seem to find...

Re: Project "Bagging Rights" man this el camino is going to look clean. love the old school color of the engine and i had thought of doing the same idea for the inner fenders since i dont like the plastic ones. keep up the great work
