Ive got a 79 malibu with a mostly stock sbc 350 from a late 70s early 80s pick up. A friend has a 2926 Vic Jr intake for Super Victor for Raised Port 23° Heads. I'm hoping that this will fit on my engine..but I don't know if my heads are 23 degrees. Any info on this would help. Thanks...

I put the 3.70 in with a yukon duragrip locker...I'm very happy with the decision I run roughly 2600 to 2800 on the free way going 55mph on 14s. Pulls a lot harder. I was at 2.75. Just wanted to give an update.

Also curious what anyone thinks of 3.55 vs 3.70. How much low end are you gaining with 3.70?

OK...Thanks. I'm open to getting an additional 3rd member but right now I'll be running these gears for a while. I think I'm gonna move forward on the 3.70. I think its gonna be a big difference from what ever is in there now..which is either a 2.89 or 3.08.

very nice...Do you know what the bolt size is for the rear bumper mounts. I removed the filler trim pieces and the bolts that stick off the body are a weird size...some where between 1/4 and 5/16. The old nuts were a little rusty but are weird push bolts. thanks

Ok...so I am trying to figure out what size these bolts are. I'm putting on fiberglass bumpers. The rear bumpers fasten to the bolts that stick out of the rear quarter panel where the trim pieces used to be. I thought they were 1/4 in. but that is a bit too small and 5/16 is too big. Was hoping...

I just pulled off my bumpers on my 79 Malibu. I put on fiberglass ones. They are totally straight. Chrome is ok. I'm in Portland Oregon. Not sure how Id get them to you but I have them.
