Being stuck at a hub at least shows it was shipped, and becomes the shipper's problem. A tracking number generated and no indication of USPS receiving the package only means that a label was printed and the package probably has not yet shipped. bweavy indicated to me that they very recently made...

Just got a reply from bweavy and he has promised to follow up.

Tracking only shows that the tracking number was generated. Package has not yet been received by USPS.

Have not heard back yet from anyone. I just sent a PM to bweavy. I'm ready to dispute the charge on my card.

Good Tip.I already went and found a 78 Service manual for 16 bucks,and will look for a parts book. Thanks for the compliment on the car. The picture in my sig doesn't show the parking lot dings and other minor defects,but it is in great shape for a 78 with original paint.

Is there anyplace online that has a parts fiche or other parts diagrams? Particularly for a 78 Cutlass?

Mine's been lucky enough to stay off the road in the winter for more than 20 years! Ya,really! And usually it's in a dry,but not warm garage. I never did like driving it in the snow, even with studded tires. Definitely prefer a front wheel drive rig in the snow.
