I’ve been out of the game for a while, but just getting back into cars now that my kids are getting older and they are interested too.

Is it my poor internet skills or are stockish control arms getting harder to find in sets (upper/lower)?

I’ve looked around and can’t find anything to replace my tired 1985 Olds 442 arms. I’m looking for complete arms with bushings and ball joints installed.

I’m not interested in tubular arms. It seems either I can cobble together less expensive arms from different companies or go for $1200 ones. no other options.

This may seem like a silly question but why not keep the ones you have? They are original. Control arms don't go bad, the bushing and ball joints do. Pull the ones you have out, clean them up, coat them and put in new poly hardware. It will be better than factory and cost you a fraction. I'm sure a local shop would be more than willing to pop out the old bushing and press in the new ones.

When I posted this I wasn’t sure what was going to be open or when I could get them pressed in here in NJ, and I was being lazy I wanted to do the job fast haha. I did find an inexpensive decent set of uppers and lowers so went with those.

On a side note i can’t believe how many people are selling these control arms on eBay. Crazy.

Right on, good luck with the install. BTW, My neighbor has a 68 442 we've been wrenching on it for months now. Love them.
