Whoa! What mt program? They deserve to be "recognized" on their Facebook, Instagram, or whatever social media page they maintain. Just a hint, abbreviation if you like, we can guess. This sucks.
Greeting Bob, truly a sad thing to hear, knowing this beautiful Malibu was your baby. There's guys out there that know what they are doing with engine work and how to apply it, and a respect for a car for what it is and what it represents (as yourself), and then you have inbred morons with money who are hell bent on destroying things just for publicity, to show you money is no object to them, perhaps their MT Tv show should be called "Dumb and Dumber no brains doing really STUPID things because I have money, to offset my insecurities because my dick is the size of a half eaten tic tac show"...Again Bob, sorry about thatGreetings Guys; For me a Very Sad day, couldn't sleep last night. I'm tired & angry. At myself as I picked the wrong buyer, One year & its being cannibalized! The new owner (I'll no longer call him a Care Taker) I had thought was in it for the fact that it is the only 2 door 9C1 that had 98% of the OE brackets & sheet metal. Meaning I thought he was going leave the 9C1 identity with a SB, Wrong he just wanted a nice roller. It'll be interesting to see if it comes back as a better engineered-looking (subjective of course) Outomible? He gave away the original Th-350 trans that worked Flawlessly. Oh did I mention my Sweet Heart engine that took Twenty years to develop, build & refine to make mid range torque all day. He gave it to bunch of Clowns & they put it in a PO Brown soft Smelly Stuff mustang! $8000 worth of engine that they tried to destroy. Letting some Posterior Hole try & burn it down buzzing it to 7500 for what seemed like minutes. I'd like to do the same to his creation & see his reaction. The Clowns tried to turn it into a drag engine, I'm guessing that they cracked the decks? Making the block junk! All that machine work & de-burring making it easy to re-fresh down the road Gone. At least I got 15 years of Enjoyment out of it & 40 years out of the One Very Unusual Outomibile! I'm having a hard time putting words together for my posts over on FB. Oh I'll mention the clowns have a tv show on mt tv. I wonder if they personally own anything nice-clean-Unusual or ever built anything decent? What would The Bronze Brick be worth 20 more years in the future with a the period SB in it vs just another Malibu with a Ls or BB? Ole' Bob.
I have to agree and I found out even sooner than you did. My 8 second chevelle that I built from a rotting hulk on someone’s front lawn over 26 years was sold in March of 2018. I got the story that the guy was looking to get back into racing after 10 years and loved the car. HE brought 2 racer friends to look the car over with him. 2 weeks after the car left it showed up on the local track’s photo page with a shoe polished number on the window and for sale on it. It was a scam to buy the car to flip it. The real buyers were the guys looking the car over and they couldn’t give a crap about the car other than what profit they could make. But I was paid, and it wasn’t mine anymore.Bob it's good to here from you. The one thing I have learned is when you sell it's no longer yours and right, wrong, or indifferent, it's his to do as he pleases. I know this can be hard to take but - everyone thinks different.
Do you have a link to the YouTube channel?I seen that last night. I seen the front of the car and said I know that car! I also thought it was disrespectful what they did. So they wiped a cam in a new engine with forged internals because they cranked on the starter to get oil pressure. They didn't even put oil on the valve train first. Did see how dry the engine was when they took it apart? Then the Bronze Brick rolled in. I was like awesome dump the Mustang and race the Brick. Nope, they literally ripped the engine out of the car to put in a pile of sh*t for there show. Then they used crappy timing control and sprayed the sh*t out of it. All I can say is I hope you got the kind of money you wanted out of it? If I was in a position to buy cars for my collection. I would have loved to have that one and left it the way it was.
