"Mid life crisis." My dad always says this which makes me laugh "It's not a midlife crisis! It's just the point in most people's lives when they can afford the damn things!" Which makes sense. By someones mid to late 40s, most of their kids if not all of them are out of the house, they have a steady decent paying job and have the time.

Ironically, I don't have any kids. Yet. GF and I are still putting a few things in place before we decide to replicate ourselves and unleash terror on the world.

Texted the owner of the car, she says it's just carb adjustment issues. Waiting for pics of the interior, and frame pics.

Looks like a great starting point. Last fall there was one just like that for sale on Pawpaw Dr. in Holland. I haven't seen it lately but will keep an eye out.
I can't do more than one.....lol, I'm trying to source the car from out of state, otherwise it'll have cancer in no time.
Lady that's selling it says it has very basic options, solid frame, no interior pics yet. I'm actually parked about 25 miles away from it right now, but can't exactly take a semi to go check it out. Maybe on the way back home, I'll get an Uber. I'm thinking I'll try to talk her down to $800ish, if she needs the money so badly. Even a rusty frame doesn't really scare me, I have the skills necessary to fab a back half, although I'd prefer it intact to get my pick points from. I'll probably be narrowing the frame out back and tubbing the trunk, anyway.

She lowered the price again, and a lot more pics. The rust concerns me, and she sent me interior pics. Not sure if it's just because it was dark, but the seats and carpet look filthy and disgusting. It also appears to have a vinyl top, which is peeling back. Those tend to collect moisture and rust, correct???
