Turbo Buicks came with a 180 deg T stat from the factory , 195 deg T stat for NA motorsGenerally it's best to stay with the stock 195 Tstant, 160 is way too cold.
Changed over from a 160 to 180 T stat since installing aluminum radiator . The 160 didn’t allow warm enough engine operating temperature . If yours is a race car then keep it but for the street definitely go with the 180hello people: Just wondering how many oy youz run a 160 stat with a aluminum rad. I 've been jumping around the try a 180 in my 86T. thanks men
