Will have to change the pulley if you need to rev it to turn. 😓Bought this grille twice now, last one was cancelled before it let the states. Ebay refunded & said item could not be shipped so waited a month & tried again & it just arrived, stoked as this will suit the front well. Front will be getting all blacked out so will tie in well, engine bays close to done. Got a problem with the head lights that either earths or the switch, got a new switch on the way just in case. Other issue is the power steering, new pump & all fitted & she's notchy as. Have to give her a rev to turn, dropped it at the exhaust shop yesterday & the guy there's going to have a look into what the issue is with it. Sure is getting closer though just those two issues at pres to sort 👌 😎
Weve looked into it were pretty sure steering box is toast, she's making some not very nice noises. Pumps sure pumping enough pressure we checked that out, luckily i got the other Malibu wreck up back so i'll swap the steering box over & see how we go from there🫰Will have to change the pulley if you need to rev it to turn. 😓
Cheers bud..... Sure has been an expensive journey but one i'm enjoying, luckily i have got the parts wagon. That has been a god send for parts, i'll be swapping out that steering box over the weekend. So close to having it road worthy ill keep at her....I've read through this thread from the beginning. It's impressive that you've kept pushing forward despite the obstacles & got to this point.
Do you still have the parts wagon?
Since you still have the parts wagon, the earlier images suggest you could raid the a/c parts to potentially get that going (since you have to deal w/heat). I'm in Texas so I know a/c isn't mandatory for us (the owners/builders) but it sure is appreciated by our companions. 😎 👍Cheers bud..... I probably wont worry to much about the ac, she'll be a weekend cruiser from time to time. I've done a heap of other projects here & got a few finished so never a shortage of toys to drive. Couple of drivers there & the green one's a couple or so months away from being finished, the sedans got nice ac in it for the super hot days 👌 😎Since you still have the parts wagon, the earlier images suggest you could raid the a/c parts to potentially get that going (since you have to deal w/heat). I get it.... I have multiple options as well. It's just nice to have a/c especially when the parts are easy to source.I probably wont worry to much about the ac, she'll be a weekend cruiser from time to time.
