So getting a bit done on this again, after a picture of how the core support mounts bolt to the frame if anyone's got one be much appreciated. Pulled it apart that long ago i cant remember how it came apart, everything else is going together easy as. Bought all new bolts etc for her, inner guards are all bolted back in just those mounts that have me beat haha......

Figured it, seems the frames have a bit of flex in them. Jacked up under the crossmember & she lined right up, had axle stands behind the front wheels. Knew i was right just some head scratching there, worked on a lot of Holdens with the same style core support over the years but this is the first chev & all foreign territory to me. Anyways i'm pretty much down to battery leads & fuel lines & radiator then we'll see what happens, got to paint up the power steering box yet & finish the steering but she is very very close now 🤘 😎

Yeah bit of a learning curve this one haha
Run some battery leads before & tipped a we bit of gas down her throat & she fired straight away so hopefully in the next week i can get a trans cooler on it & run the fuel lines then start her up properly, getting very very close now 😎

So just ordered new front calipers - rear wheel cylinders & a new master cylinder for this so touch wood that should be it to get this back on the road. There is one other thing i'm concerned about & that is the fuel tank, if a vehicle sits over here for no more than 18 months the petrol almost turns to water & boy does it rust tanks out. After getting it powered up the other day i see half a tank in her & she's been sitting since 2016 so could get scary, is there any places in the states that sells new tanks for these as worst case scenario i might have to get one shipped over. Cheers for any info 😎
