Thes are listed for a Gbody and have the same thread size but the All American ones don't list a shank length.

Thank you. Saw those. That is where I got confused as they don't show for the 80s Cutlass when you look at the listing. 🤷‍♂️

I don't see a listing for Gbody Cutlass but they have it listed for 78-88 Regal and Monte which would be the same

There must be something in the water because I spent a couple hours looking at strikers and vent plates today as well. I was considering Hawk's, OER, All American, or even some from eBay. I'm hung up on one thing though: collar or no collar? I imagine a spinning collar reduces wear but just how important is that?

Dude that is weird...lol. I am looking at new vents and seat belt retractor lever block offs...got some Christmas cash eating a hole in my pocket lol.
Nice! I think I'll leave my seatbelt retractors since they act like door poppers to a degree. Don't know if you've seen them but you may like the stuff from axislowrider or Lewis Metal Work on eBay, although they're not super flashy. Axis has more options, the Olds logo vents are very tempting, and they have a package with the strikers and vents for ~ $175.

I like those cutlass emblem ones. May have to get em..send em out to engraving and chrome!
Do it! Do people usually have foam or a screen behind these aftermarket vents to prevent junk from falling in/ hide the view? I haven't been able to inspect these on a car up close.
