BUICK 1964 Skylark Coupe Project

I like the contrast of the blue/white. The halo trim demands two-tone.

Blue.

Here's a picture of the Marlin blue from my '64 Buick Brochure. The one they show has a white vinyl roof. I wouldn't do it in vinyl, I'd paint it white. But it's definitely a good looking combo.

Also, did you know you could get a happy ending at the Buick dealer in '64?

I’ve always been a fan of the beige on the 64–65 GM intermediates. Used to see one here locally at shows a 64 Malibu in beige with rally wheels which I’m not usually a huge fan of but that car just was so clean and simple it really stuck out

Happy ending for the salesman as you drive away in your new Buick...

The beige does look really clean and I think redline tires set it off just right. With a white and black interior it could really look sharp.
Happy endings at the Buick dealership? Service departments have really gone downhill since '64.
And Buick wasn't even the most expensive marque, just imagine what you got when you bought a Cadillac!

Yeah as a blue guy through and through when I saw the beige I was like yeah thats the way to go, until I saw the 2 tone look of the blue and how it pops🤣
