What did you do to your non g-body project today [2025 edition]

Went and got insurance for the "new" truck before heading to get tags. I never made it to the tag office- the G Body requires attention and let me know it by killing the starter.

Struggled a bit putting a radio in. At first I thought the display was bad, turns out when you leave the doors open for two hours the battery goes dead. 😆
Broken the cheap plastic radio bezel thing and they don't produce any parts the color I need but it works I suppose.
Oddly like the factory setup, the radio is quieter than the tape deck.

Was looking for a two part adhesive for rigid plastics such as the trim pieces in car dashes or the center console housing and found this.

Label says suitable for PVC type plastics. If you managed to save the bits and pieces or the damage is just a crack or clean break, this might work for you. Like the url says, this can be found at Home Depot although I got mine at a local indy hardware store. Too cold in my shop right now to test the stuff on my console but just a-waiting the temps to climb a little.

Update: radio is still extremely hard to see in daylight, no lighting or display options on the radio. Plus it's quiet on radio mode but tape mode will blow your face off, comparatively. Odd.

It does have 2 sets of rca outs and a CD changer socket.

It's listenable but I'll probably swap in a different radio eventually.
