finally I found left corner piece to my Pontiac, 65$ delivered to home...

Assembled new brake pads, discs and wheel bearings. Checked that everything works and now it`s ready for annual inspection... After that, frame off restoration and new drivetrain and engine... :friday:

And the answer was: There was a time in US car production history that horsepower was not talked about or published. This occurred during the late 70's into the early 80's. Everyone was more concerned with efficiency and fuel economy. Unfortunately this brochure does not list any horsepower...

What about original owners manual? Is there any technical specifications? I just bought it anyway... :D

I have Haynes repair manual, but there is nothing about any powerfigures... Our vehicle inspectors use normally wikipedia, especially with cars like mine, where no technical information can be found...

Yep, I did noticed it, but something that got my eye , were 8.5" diff and rear disc brakes... :shock: If I use this paper in my cars inspection, i have to have rear discs also...

basically they use those powerfigures that engine had at factory. If I put engine originally 150hp to my car, it would be ok even if I put a turbocharger in it, although I have to have dynopaper to prove that the powerfigures don`t exceed over 20%... And because I have to prove that, we can do...

Does anyone of you members own some kind of original brochure, where you can see how much horsepower there has been in Pontiac LeMans 301cid between years 1979 to 1981. If you do, copy of that would make me wery happy... :P My version is with 2BBL and its only 135hp, but there is two more...

finally got my engineblock back from machineshop after 3months...

Made a heavy duty engine stand for my engine... Still needs some paint... :roll:
