I'd have to double check but I know that it has tci clutches for sure, I believe stock shafts. Just wondering how much those upgrades cost compared to getting a th400 for $200 and having that built up a little.
I had a similar issue. Is your coil compatible with MSD? that could be the issue as well. I ended up buying a cap that allows me to run an external coil off of my HEI distributor, I think it was like $20 or something, MSD sells it and then I hooked up a coil Blaster coil. It was super easy to do.
I have a th350 that was built but is starting to give out. Just wondering if I would be better off uping to a mild th400 or get the th350 rebuilt again with even stronger parts. I'm making approx. 475-500 at the wheels. I have a builder who will do it for me for the price of parts and a case of...
after i switched out the 600cfm for a 750 dp it pulls hard from like 3500,4000 to about 6700 to 6800 but from what i understand could be limited by the manifold. the carb swap was night and day, just wondering if the intake is still holding t back some too.
it looks like before the guy sold it to me he just threw on a cheap intake and carb because the rest of the motor looks like no expenses were spared, arp studs and bolts on everything.... he says the motor made near 500hp on a engine dyno and it pulls super hard. the car has a 3500 stall, would...
I have a summit dual plane intake manifold on my 350 and am wondering if it would be worth the time and money to swap to a weiand or edelbrock. Anyone had any experiences between the 3. Just curious because the runners on the summit intake look small to me almost stock like.
just looking for some input from you guys as i'm starting to put together a 383
heres what i'm putting in it so far some things subject to change like cam and intake

Any idea how different? I'd really like to get some flares for the rear wheels so it looks a lot cleaner with my wheels. Think it would be somewhat easy to get them to fit or not worth trying?
So if I understand correctly a 15x10 rim with 3.75" BS and -44mm offset and a 15x10 with 4.25" BS and -32mm offset will fit the same but have a slightly different look. Just wanna triple check.
Hey guys i noticed when i was going to order some GNX fender flares for my regal it said that they were only compatible for 81-87 bucks. My question is will they fit my 78?
