    Rustbelt Group Fall Cruise

I feel your pain, happens to me too. I hope to do a similar event in spring/early summer if we survive COVID 😬. Go check out the September/October "planning" posts in the Groups section. I offered up potential routes to the local/regional group before posting in the Events section. Nashville...

    Core Support Bushing Questions

Core support was too low? or too high from the frame? Where is the frame supported? When I did my body bushings (with drivetrain still in), the front frame section would droop quite a bit if not supported ahead of the engine

    HELP Tool suggestion?

That looks super cheap(in a good way)-affordable. I'm amazed the PVC held up. Impressed.

Maybe TURNA might have some suggestions for tall springs??? 🙂

    HELP Tool suggestion?

Ridetech sells this tool. Not really suggesting it, but seems like the basic setup wouldn't be too difficult to duplicate with a minimum of fabrication skills and some trial and error. The video helps. https://www.ridetech.com/product/bushing-installation-removal-tool/

New to the site, but not to forums or G-Bodies...

Zach, you poor b*st*rd. I hope your BMW dealers have good emotional/mental health insurance. I have owned ONE BMW (E46-325i Wagon). It was a blast to drive-when it was running and drivable. Maybe two or three cool G bodies will help you keep your sanity, or maybe it's the owners that are crazy...

    Need advice

I think one of the site sponsors (Southside Machine Performance deals with lifted/big rim cars, but they're in Indianapolis, IN. Maybe they could point you in a direction. Based on Youtube videos I've seen from Atlanta I would think lifted G body shops would be on every corner. Here's one...

    Introducing Social Groups

When I posted up about the road trip a few weeks ago, I put it in the news feed section within the group. Should it have gone in the discussion section? Is it even necessary at this point to have both? I would get the red dot at the alert bell related to my posts, but I don't know what it looks...

    And So it Begins

With the good comes the bad. You guys apparently have waaaay more G bodies left up there, but also have that crap far more. Hate to admit it, but I would rather just do without G bodies

    Upper Control Arm Bump Stops

I took the abs sensor out, tapped the knuckle, and installed a set screw or small NPT pipe plug with blue Loctite. Sorry I can't tell you what size, pretty sure whatever the closest tap drill size compared to the current hole in the hub, if that makes sense.

    Old Gbody with new dreams

Surely you've seen UMI's Green Machine?? There's a lengthy thread on this site about it, 79 MC autocross/track build

    Old Gbody with new dreams

I've never seen a factory manual trans Monte Carlo. Very cool. What's your home area?

    ROLL CAGE OR ROLL BAR

Ludicrously expensive IMO, but basic design with bolt in crossbar would preserve back seat access https://www.ridetech.com/product/1968-1972-gm-a-body-tigercage/

    Rustbelt Group Fall Cruise

From the Rustbelt group- my pipe dream. IT'S A GO! That's me trying to show excitement. Weather for Saturday October 17th looks great, so I'm headed out on a Southern Indiana road trip and it would be great if a couple of you guys could come along. Don't care if you're driving your Gbody, the...

2019 Challenger Widebooty HellKitty (she's giving me the meatsweats...)

Excuse my ignorance, or impatience for not catching the answer to my question somewhere else in the thread, but are you getting enough heat in the tires? Looks like you're doing the burnout in first gear. Have you tried second for more wheel speed(and hence heat)? How do you know you're "there"...

GN Another kind of Grand National Buick

https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2020/04/rare-rides-the-1988-buick-lesabre-t-type-coupe/ Mentions the Grand National Lesabre. The T-type looked a lot better with the blacked out trim and without the "NASCAR" quarter windows. Reminds me of the 88-97 Cutlass Supreme, I assume same basic chassis?

    LED Dome Light

I installed mine in the Cutlass dome light last night-WOW. Different color (whiter) but 5-10x brighter. Gonna put two of them in our '97 4Runner too.

    It's been a minute...

I'm relatively new here compared to you, so I missed your build, but I can't believe you molested a real Aerocoupe. Actually don't care, that thing looks BadAss!

    Body mount complete kit

Don't know where your at with washers, but here's what I did. I'm with Cdunigan on this one. I don't understand how spraying with penetrant does anything unless the bushing is gone enough that you can get the nozzle up to nut/bolt or access from the top side. I am in the process of changing my...
