So if you probably read my other post about my current trans dilemma. One the biggest issues I have is the shifter that came on the car.
It came with a Lokar trans mounted shifter. The handle is literally up against the dash. Its super loose. Obviously looks hideous. It's really the only thing I...
It's gonna be "street/strip". The ultimate goal is full weight low 10's drive to the track make some passes and drive back home.
Most of my track cars have always been bare bones manual cars.
This will be more of a "finished" pro-tour type of thing.
It currently has 3:55 gears which I should...
So I'm putting together a list with some options. Not entirely sure with route I want to go. So, I figured I'd ask you guys for some insight/experience.
I currently have a Th350 with an unknown convertor.
The trans was in the car when I got it. Trans feels good. No slipping, shifts nice and...
Well boys I finally did it!
Not only the longest drive but I got to drive it home! 29 miles about an hour with some heavy traffic at the end. I took all back roads, It’s got some vibrations at higher speeds. Probably alignment or driveshaft.
I really wanna get a 4l80 the 3:73 with the TH350...
Yea, been looking at this one.... Just need to remember which account I had that 12 mil in.

Well I've been gone for way too long.
Trying to get settled into the house. We've had a bunch a family come and visit and I thought moving 12 hours away was gonna keep them away.
I but I'm starting to get a couple things together to do some work on the interior of the Cutlass.
I ordered a carpet...
We are just north of Gastonia in Dallas. Hopefully I can work out some bugs on the cutlass and cruise are I also need a more Street friendly wheel setup these skinnies aren’t going to like the back roads too much.
Well boy last Wednesday we closed on the house. What an emotional roller coaster it was.
My wife’s and I goal was to be homeowners by 30. This November I turn 30 and my will be 29 in December. This feels like a tremendous accomplishment that I don’t think could’ve been done in South Florida. I...
They do suffer from wheel hop in a launch type situation. It has a huge aftermarket support and are great around corners. I’ve done a solid swap for a drag setup cobra and then the irs is a fox body coupe. Everything that has its place. The couple made for a hell of cruiser with the irs.
an 03/04 Cobra style IRS shouldn’t be too difficult.
The front mounts bolt in to where the stock lower control arms then just need to fab a bracket for the rear.
these are direct swaps to all foxes/sn95 and new edge mustangs. the rear frame side bracket actually i Is bolted One to the body of...
Finally got to drive the car up here. So far loving it here. Should be closing on the new house mid Feb. She really liked the cold air but misses the e85. New plans coming soon for it.

Two fails in one post..
#1 It was actually last week..
#2. I didn’t take any pics.
Had the Cutlass and the K10 transported to North Carolina. in the process my SS spoiler got destroyed along with a dent on my trunk. K10’s bumper guard is good though.. 👍(wait that’s 3 fails)
We found a few new constructions but they are a couple months out before they are done. Having trouble finding a short term rental for the time being. I’m honestly just tired of giving someone else my down money on rentals.
I’m trying to talk the wife into getting an older house that needs some...
