Yezzir I double checked all wires & gaped them according to engine specs it called for .060 it was doing this before thats why I decided to tune it up

I removed my smog pump but still have both original brackets for olds 307 if interested message me.. im currently looking for the original Ilc not the electric one , but the vacuum one if you know who has one or where I might fined one

So I replaced the ignition coil & engine started right up but it sounds like a diesel engine now anny ideas on what is making it do this.
