Thanks guys. I believe the caps will be going on once I buy the threaded factory lug nuts. Next is deciding on which set of springs to install. MC SS is my plan to keep ride height but lose the sloppy body roll and bottoming out from the 35 year old set on it now. :roll:
Finally installed my 2010 Camaro wheels on my 78 wagon. Had these sitting in my barn for 2.5 years collecting dust and decided for Fathers day they were going on the wagon. Had to use 1.5 in billet spacers but it was a perfect fit. No rubbing in the rear on the frame running the factory Camaro...

:roll: My parents had a 75 Malibu 4dr when I was little then upgraded to a 76 Malibu wagon. My Fathers work car was a 79 Malibu 2d with the 6cyl he bought from his aunt. She bought it new. The 76 wagon stayed in the family until my teens. My first car was a 77 Malibu 4dr I bought for 350 bucks...
False alarm on the motor. Threw the fan belt and overheated yesterday. The issue with the knock was a lifter. She's purring like a kitten now.
I don't try to drive the wagon in the winter. Have a 2000 Z71 Tahoe and my 88 GMC Jimmy for that white stuff. :wink:

My 78 Malibu wagon has the switch on the drivers door panel in front of arm rest. Front windows have additional switches near top of panel. I have to work on drivers side. Not opening with switches. I'll take pics...
