Picked this long bed '77 Chevy up about a month ago. Back in October my dad and I built a '78 Malibu that brought me here and since then I have been the one cruisin' it (Not Complaining). We finish a car and he seems to lose interest but any how I took it out to a cruise night and a guy I know...

I bought a set about 3 weeks ago, 15x8 5 on 5 for my '77 C-10. I put the plain flat cap on them and they look pretty nice on it. I think total cost including shipping for me was $365 or so. I thought it was a good inexpensive alternative to the mis-matched wheels that I bought my truck with.

Re: Bought tires from Walmart, now I know why they are so ch I owned a little "Mom & Pop's" tireshop for sevral years and for the most part people with specialty needs were/are your customer base for small shops. People I dealt with that owned hot rods, tractors, 4x4, lawnmowers, atv's etc...

Thanks. I wasn't crazy over the color the night we picked it up but after cleaning it and looking at it with the camel color interior it really grew on me. Still debating if I want to do the black "Yenko" style stripe down the side.

Maybe they were hauling a load of skittles or fruit gushers and they melted all over the interior because I am sure no one would do that to a interior on purpose! :rofl:

I bought a Year One crate motor 7 years ago and have been pleased with it. As others said it had 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. It is a 355 w/vortec heads and air gap intake. It is dynoed before shipped and it made 423 hp and around 400ft.lbs of torque if I remember correctly. I have it in a '55...

Thanks. I put some radials on the car at begining of October to do Crusin' the Coast. Decided at the last minute on a Sunday so my choices were limited and only place that had around a 27" tall tire was Pep Boys. I realized quickly I am going to invest in a GOOD radial, they spin really bad but...

Bet that is a fun Buick wagon!
