i got a vacuum pump for coolant system for christmas
i am having some problems
if i pull off the rad cap i can pull it down to -5 and when i turn off the vacuum it slowly goes back to zero
if i pull a vacuum on the upper rad hose removed at the rad i can get -25 ish
if i pull the lower rad hose...
so i have tried searching and searching
i have a wideband in my car and i would like to add a trans temp gauge
i want to add a two pod console gauge
but i need to know my color
i know there are a couple greys out there

so i have a 3 wire alternator on my cutlass now
but i plan on putting on my 105amp when the ls goes on
the current wiring is heavy red from battery, so that goes to same spot on ls alternator
but what has me stumped is the smaller red and brown?

i have a truck pan but what i have read it sits way too low
i was looking at the gm muscle car pan
but i am not sure what to run

so i just got a 5.3 block the other day
supposedly a 2004 truck block
i either plan on going with a carb or a tbi conversion (holly terminator or something along those lines)
can i use the stock alternator?
will i be able to use the ac compressor?

should i buy it? probably open carrier but wouldnt those 3.42 wake up the car?

so when i was trying to free up my used shaft i guess i used too much heat and melted both of the inserts
anything i can do to fix this? or get a new shaft?

so I went out for lunch yesterday everything was normal (engine smokes a little at start up)
went to leave after lunch and pulled out on the road and I noticed I was just smoking like crazy
I got home pulled the plugs from the drivers side and compression was between 110 and 140 psi

then i went to shut it off and i couldnt get the column to lock
i had to rotate the column (the piece that turns as you put it into gear, i have a floor shifter)
how do i adjust this? thanks
