Has anybody tried the rack and pinion steering set from a company called Unisteer? It looks like a bolt in system with everything you need. I'm thinking about it and wonder if anybody has used it yet.

I had to take my glove box apart to paint it. I read that someone said just pull hard on the knob and the lock will come apart. Well I did it and it worked good. But now how does it go back together? I tried to just push the knob back into the lock but it will not stay in place. Anybody have any...

I need the vent controls. I have the one for the climate control.

I don't have the 2 cables from the control panel. I got the part numbers but don't know where they go from the panel to which vent control.

HELP!! I have been converting an AC car to a non-AC car. I have all the parts but need the 2 control cables that go on the control panel. I have tried my GM dealers but they say that those parts are discontinued. Anybody got any ideas where I can get some new cables? Thanks :wtf:

In the process of finishing install of a T-5 speed in my 86 Monte. I am using the mechanical clutch setup but don't know where to hook up the return spring on the clutch fork. Does it go forward or to the rear? HELP!!

Well to start the closest junkyard to me is about 70 miles away. And the problem I have is getting the right bend around the rear. I guess I'll call and see if those vendors could sell me just the 2 lines I need and not the whole set. Thanks :idea:

Does anybody know where I can get a set of brake lines for the rear end of my 86 MC? I need the two hard lines that are on the rear end. I've wasted too many lines trying to bend them myself so I'm looking for some pre-bent lines. I've found places that sell all the lines in a kit but all I need...

I have a problem with my drivers window. It rattels all the time when it is down. I finally removed the glass and regulator assy. and either replace it or have it fixed. Oh yea it's a powered window. I haven't been able to find a replacement or somebody to repair it. Any help please?

Does any body know how the heater core comes out? I have an 86 SS with air and I need to cahneg the heater core cause it's leaking and the service manual doesn't show it in great detail. Thanks
