Okay here is the deal. My 78 elco had a long speedo .I swapped it for for round ones. Reconfigured the plug. The temp guage still doesn't work. And it has a new sender for a guage. Do these guages go bad? or a defective sender? Any thoughts are welcomed. Thanks, Jason

So I just acquired a85 MC. Going through the local boneyard this weekend I found a86 LS. Needless to say I bought the nose and bumper.The Fenders were crap and the trim was missing off the fenders. Question is. Are the Fenders the same and where can I get the trim?

I recently acquired another project car. A monte this time. Went to tyne local boneyard this morning and found an LS nose and bumper. Huge score.

I used opgi.com 3 inch drop springs on my elky and got more like 3 in the front and 5 in the back. Sagged terrible. I kept the 3 in the front and put umi 2 in springs in the rear. It has a nice rake to it now and handles great. My suggestion is to use umi all around. Much better...

Okay guys I've looked everywhere I can think to look.i have a set astrato buckets. 78 ish. Where can I get the plastic backs for the seats? Mine are literally flaking apart. New or nice used ones. Color doesn't matter.i will dye them. Thanks in advance .

Put a coat of satin black on the elky and put some rallies on my dad's 86 LS.

Oh and I did not move anything else . Window ,track, or door adjustment .

The window makes contact at the top until about half way then it's like the window is pushed off

I bought new weatherstripping for the elky about 8 years ago.I'm redoing the car put the gaskets on and the window seals don't seal.the windows make contact in some places and in others there is literally a gap. Any suggestions? Could these gaskets gone bad from sitting? I need help...

That helps alot.with the 5 inch drop on the front of my car my drivers side header scrapes the ground when you hit a bump and it bounces.from what ridetech is telling me you can't drive it fully inflated. How much ground clearance do you have at "driving height "?

A little update . tonight I ditched the inner fenders. No rub until it turns then it hits,bad.i tried some 15x7 rallies I had. No rub. So there is my answer I guess. Anyone want to buy some iroc wheels?

That's what I couldn't figure.the blazer spindles should have not made it any higher. But it was a good inch higher in the front.

I only have 4 fronts.I'm good with getting rid of the inner fenders. My fear is the fenders themselves getting ruined.
