Will a lq4 with stock truck intake fit under hood of my 1986
Will an lq4 6.0 out of a 2002 Yukon fit under the hood of my 1986 Monte ss. I've seen posts that the stock truck intake produces better than a ls6 intake. It is ugly but it wouldn't cost me any more $$. If the truck intake is too tall would a hood with a 2" cowl fix a possible clearance issue?- jsantino

lq4 installing ls6 intake
I have an lq4 Im working on engine. It has truck intake on it now. I would like to keep it drive by wire. Will the truck intake throttle body work on ls6 intake?- jsantino

what transmission to use
I have a 1986 monte ss with a 700r4 trans. I just purchased a lq4 with 48k on it what kind a trans would be the best for new motor? Does any one know where to get decently priced motor mounts for conversion. also if anyone has a build sheet or parts list for an Lq4 with 550 to 600hp please post- jsantino
