You may want to test the alternator as well and make sure it has around high 13s or 14 volts at idle. Turns out sometimes an alternator is bad but still putting out the minimum voltage to keep the car running once started. I had a very very similar problem with my 87 olds 442. Tried 2 batteries...

I know the feeling man! I put a transmission in my old 87 olds 442 in some 20 degree weather about two years ago. The garage was cold and the steel was even colder somehow. And I'm sure you already know what a pain it is trying to work with gloves on lol What are you doing to your 94?

By how close the gp brace is to your sway bar in the pic i assume there probably is clearance issues using the factory parts..

First one is the lemans on its original frame after I refinished it. Other two pics are of my other and first g body a legit 1987 olds 442. that one had a serious rot issue and was sold about two weeks ago.

also a question for vanrah, on goody parts they sell an outer rocker and say it will fit all goodies except the malibu and el camino. because the lemans is the same style as the malibu will these rockers not fit my lemans?
