I have a 87 el camino with a ls3 swap. I have been through 2 r4 compressors and wanted to switch to a sanden style compressor. Has anyone done this and which compressor and lines did you use. I know there are sd508, sd5, sd7 and flx, also several different models within those. Thank You

It didn’t work when I installed a 6.2, I modified the frame so it would work, but then the center steering link hit. So just get the Holley pan I believe 302-2

Looks like most of the companies now show the part as discontinued. I tried to order the grill but they had already said they could not get one. Hopefully the nose shows up and I will have to come up with a aftermarket grill.

My nose is scheduled to arrive 3/8/18. But I didn't order the grill. How many of you ordered the ss grill and the lower piece that goes around the bottom of the nose?

I wonder who builds the one from OPGI? I also saw one on the el camino store for $1099.00, but you have to order a different to look like a choo choo front end.

I was holding out on buying a ss conversion till I was ready for paint and body. I looked at the Honest Charlies (wow now 2200.00 with out the correct grill). but I better get one quick. Is Lauren the only other one that makes the ss conversion nose?

I have put on tubular upper and lower control arms with taller ball joints. So basically there is not anything that everyone is using or suggesting just go buy one from the local auto store, except for the howe adjustable one.

Don't know about ctsv pan, but the muscle car pan will hit, you would have to notch the frame. I least that what I had to do on 5 gen el camino with a ls3.

i bought the gm muscle car oil pan with the holley set up. I am going to try and see how it fits. I am getting close to pulling the motor out and putting a ls3 in.

Thank you for all your help. Do you think that the g-force crossmember will work with that set up?
