I changed the alternator and it is still dying. If the car is not running the battery is fine. I left the car and did not bother it for a week and the car started right up. But if I let it sit and run for a while then cut the car off it will not start back up.
Need some advice I just put in a serpentine one belt setup and a msd box in my 83 cutlass. Now I am having charging issues. Something keeps killing the battery. Everytime I charge it back up and drive it the car dies on me. Any advice I sure can use some.

I want to use a http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-08-423-8 hyd roller cam for my build. I think 400-450 would be good for right now. How easy could I get 400-450hp. Is this a good cam to use?
Ok I now have the axles with a 28 spline for a GN. I am still looking for a 3.73 gear. I cant seem to find one on Summit or Jegs website. All I see is the ones with a 27 spline count.
Will a posi unit out of a 1998 camaro fit in a 7.5 housing? Has any body put in a posi unit if so what will fit and ring and pinion. I want to put a posi in and come with a 3.73 gear. Can anybody help with some part numbers
Do cold air intakes really give you more horsepower? If so is there one out there that can fit a gbody cutlass without doing alot and look nice as well?
Does anyone have a turbo setup or a vortec 5.7 turbo setup on a cutlass? I am trying to find out about turbo's and what you have to do to put one in a cutlass?
