Steven, the Radial T/A in size P215/70R15 RWL is not available at this time.
There are currently no plans for future production.
Since BFGoodrich does not own any dealerships, we will not know who may have
the tires in their inventory. The...
Yes I was mistaken in my info. TA s are made, my size is back ordered until october!! 215/70 's are snug. how much fatter are 65's? I see them listed at coker and tire rack. I'm still waiting for BF Goodrich to get back to me!
I'm not sure where you are in NJ I'm pretty far south. Near Phili...
I always knew I was the BALLS. Took some pics in the brite sun to really see the color!
If you look close at the corner you can see the color difference
Thanks for looking!
Ok bessy is close to done. I've been driving her and she rides great! I have a few things left to do; I need to reundercoat the wheel wells to cover overspray. The old radio sucks. I don't need a fancy system, just something to listen to. I havn't figured out how to remove the bezel yet. The...
I got the rest of the painted parts today. The color is not the same!! I put it together and I will let him decide how to fix it. I'll let him do a blend in if he wants. It's not that different. I still have a day or two to finish it. Still neds interior reassambly, driver door latch powder...
Well I worked on Bessy today. The new blue paint looks green with all the pollen. I'm in south Jersey. Not near NY!(thats dirty jersey!) I paid $600.00 for the paint.I did all the body work. stripped it, did all the jambs(it is a color change). They sanded once more, shot the sealer and painted...
A brief history and a reassambly thread.
Bought this car 2 years ago. I got it because it was sooo boring. It was a grandmothers car. 45K orig miles. Probably never went over 45 in it's life. I'm the second owner. I bought it so my girlfriend, who had a DUI, could drive to work in something...
You could sand it but the texture is close as it is. 5 hours later I took it out to the car and it looks really good. very close match!! The shiney pic is when it was wet. It dried really good.
The plastic on my "B" pillars was badly deterioting.So;
Sanded they down to remove loose and deep scratches
Coated with 2 coats of Chip Guard. this is the stuff that is used on rear quarters to prevent rock chips
Let dry and painted final color.
I'll let you know how they last...
Does anybody know or know of a link to find paint codes? I'm trying to match the blue used on a 1980 Z 28. I know that the chevy code is 24. I need the no. that begins with the "WA". Anybody? Hoping to send Bessy to the paint shop tomorrow. I've done the jambs and she is all block sanded, ready...
Joey. I'm right off of 561 near the WaWa. I was not in wildwood last sept. Missed your episode. Hope you got away with it. My car is a cutlass. You can see it under Bessy threads. She should be painted soon. I'm just taking a break from block sanding now. Evan so, reassembly will take a while.
The chrome is very hard. yes I used 80 grit. It doesn't cut as deep as it would into paint. My bumpers were not in the best of condition. I touched up in places with finer. (places that I went through the chrome and nickel and copper to the steel) I then used a finer grit. Mostly I left the 80...
I'll put up pics under the bessy name tomorrow. I just sanded with 80 grit, painted with self etch and sprayed flat black. You could go with any color that you want. It's really not that hard. you could also get them powder coated, powder loves chrome!!
