Would a 1980 Grand Prix front clip fit on it? I know it was said a grand am will fit, just unsure about Grand Prix. Also would you need the inner fenders as well if this is the case?

No, a Grand Prix clip will not fit. A Grand Am is closer to a LeMans in body than a Grand Prix is.

An entire Grand Prix front clip will bolt on, BUT, you'll also need to bolt on the Grand Prix doors and do body work on the rear quarter panels to get body lines to "line up"! Jack (Longroof79) is right in that it won't fit as just an interchange and go! IIRC, an El Camino owner (Ferret Lady) has a grand Prix front clip on her trucklet.
Oh, I think the front bumper shock mounts need to be reworked too on the Grand Prix front clip.

Doug....don't forget that this is a 4dr wagon...Gbody Grand Prix was only built as a 2dr so you can't just bolt the doors and front end on.

One thing to keep in mind when swapping front ends. The metal bumpers may be the same between years.............but the 5 mph bumper shocks differ. Years ago I bought a 1981 LeMans and it had both grilles broken. It wasn't hard to locate more grilles, but I spotted a 1978 Grand LeMans wagon that had the engine removed and he was going to dump the body. Well, I preffered the frontend of the 1978, so I pulled the whole unit ahead of the fenders/hood and dragged the carcass to the dump for him. A few days later, I cursed up the clouds when I figured out the bumper shocks on the 78 are shorter than those on the 81. Had to reinstall my 81 front and hunt down shorter shocks............I think I got them from a 79. Of course, looking at both cars now, you can see how the front bumper protrudes out further on the 81. I eventually painted the car and drove it for years , and loved it. Then the winters took it's toll on the chassis. That car sparked my interest in the 70's A/G bodies............before that everything I had was from the 60's.
