On the Pontiac Grand Am front end do I need the entire front fascia then?

Yes, you'll need the entire front facia [nose panel, grills, headlight bezels, side marker lights/lens, and I think the centered nose emblem (arrow head). The 1981 Grand Lemans facia will fit also!

I see you posting in a few for sale adds...I would think shipping from the US would be pretty costly....not sure which way you want to go for parts..but I have access to an 80 (I believe) LeMans..

also an 81 (car on the left)...although I did have someone interested in the grilles from one..

might have to buy the whole car but then there's this early (78-80) Pontiac..

I saw where you inquired on a Malibu front end...I have an 81 in my possession if you wanted to go that route...

I always thought a Grand Am wagon would be awesome. 8)

That would be perfect thanks. I want to keep the front end I have now and just replace the current fenders, good, and above grill piece. Anyone know if all g body years fit? Or if only certain years and brands fit?

I might have what you are looking for from my '80 wagon/'81 sedan... PM me for details.

The only parts that will fit the front sheet metal are going to be from the Pontiac line-up; when I first got my wagon I thought od doing an MCSS nose conversion - until I figured out that I needed a hood, fenders, inner fenders ans wheel wells from a Malibu.

So basically the entire front end has to be rebuilt from scratch then and replaced with the new one?

The Monte Carlo front end sheetmetal is slightly wider than the Malibu front sheetmetal. You can perform an SS style front swap on the Malibu/Lemans wagon, but you need to use the Malibu front fenders and hood, and the El Camino SS nosepiece, which is slightly narrower than the Monte SS nosepiece, and will fit the Malibu front sheetmetal properly. If you're interested in doing the El Camino SS front conversion, I believe that the parts are still available from Honest Charley's in the States.
