I agree get a flat hood to cut up.......

That is on the list of things to buy... First on the list is headers, front mount fuel cell and 12an fuel line. Then my additional safety crap. The hood is low on the list, hopefully it will happen though.

It will be ready. Just ordered my lemons headers yesterday so I'm three weeks out. I'm selling the enderle alcohol injection and am going to run a sv1 carb on pump gas. This big block made 742 HP on pump gas.... Looking to go 9.0 to very high 8's on pump gas.

I should be done and ready in a month to race.

Thanks

Tim

Couple pictures of whats in the bottom end of the new engine. I'm going to roll new bearings in it and try to swing the billet moroso oil pump.

May 13th the track opens here. I'll have some numbers that weekend if everything goes good.

Made it to the track.... transmission brake solenoid didn't work so I have a new one on the way.

The track was very cold and had very little traction. I got the car finished yesterday so today I took it very easy on it. Only made two passes due to the bad traction.

First pass was just a shake down pass. The second pass I launched from idle and spun to a 1.93 60 foot time. When I shifted into second it spun again. Had to peddle it to keep some traction. The car ran a 10.71 at 133 mph.

Overall I am very happy. The pro system sv-1 carb from Patrick ran great with only float and idle adjustments.

Next weekend I should have better numbers.

Was a good first day at the track for firing this thing less than 24 hrs ago.
