Try the RTV on the center four bolts. But, it has been my experience that the previous installer did not use a gasket designed to work with an Edelbrock or aftermarket intake.

Yesterday morning I checked all around the intake including the intake bolts and there were no leaks anywhere other than at the 4 center bolts of the intake.I removed the 4 bolts and all 4 had oil in the threads.I decided to replace all 4 center bolts.
Before I installed the new bolts,I put permatex #2 on all bolt threads and than made sure they were nice and tight.
I let the truck sit all day yesterday and part of this morning.I drove it this morning to the next town which is 20 miles one way, drove back doing 65 miles per hour and when I got home,I checked all 4 bolts for leaks and no oil leaks anywhere.
So,that job is done and now next to my next project.I am going to install a AM/FM/CD player with Bluetooth,USB in the dash along with 2 front and 2 rear speakers.I want to thank all of you for your kind tips and or suggestions with my problem.
Thanks.

did you not remove the intake to check the intake gaskets?

I was going to remove the intake to check the gaskets eventhough there was no oil leaking in the area of where the gasket is.
I did however, called the previous owner and asked him if they had used the correct gasket for that intake. He said that when he bought the edelbrock intake,he asked the salesperson to include the gasket that would work with that intake. He also told the rep.that his motor was a 350 short block.
I also did some research on the web about the center bolts of the intake leaking oil and there is a big article about oil seeping out tru those 4 bolts. They say to eighter put permatex #2 on the threads or replace the 4 bolts and still use the permatex.
Like I mentioned yesterday,I ran the truck for 45 miles without stopping and there were no more oil leaks out of those 4 bolts.
Thanks.
