Done some exhaust today. X-pipe and muffler wont cut it, gotta put another one to each side 😀 Having little trouble to fit those 3" pipes over the rear axle...

Some fotos:

And the car, this is how it sits with those Eibach springs, what do you like guys?

Once again, I am reminded how extra-passionate are G-Body restorers from other countries. No one stateside should grumble about 'I can't find that in the U-Pull-It'. These guys have few AMERICAN cars parted out locally.

I am impressed how much welding and major rot reconstruction you have been able to do. In the latest picture, the paint looks great. It's hard to believe you started with all that bubbly metal under the vinyl top. I don't think I have ever seen anyone in the US rebuild a steering box. It's so easy to just buy one already done.

I am envious of your huge workshop. I need to buy the neighbor's house behind me, tear it down and put up a heated shop!

Great inspiration! That's a high-speed taxi, now, I am sure!

Done some little something for Cutlass. Did the passenger side exhaust, part of it... Little thight fit to do 3" pipe over the rearaxle 😀

Then drove it to work, changed oil and filter, did the emission test for it, and aligned the steering.

But I spotted an problem! Eibach lowering spring go too low on rear end! The fender hits the side of the tire in some situations... I think 1/2" or 1" upper would be good. Any suggestions? I think airlift 1000 would do the job fine but its too expensive for me...

Exhaust is pretty much done, still I need to make last holders for the last bits of exhaust. Then I take the whole exhaust off, check for leaks, grind the weldings and paint it.

Sounds nice, seems to fit! I can upload a video when its done 🙂

Sorry for crappy fotos, hard to take fotos lying on the ground under the car 😀
