So no updates here ....moneys tight! texas is slow! and family comes first....Still want to do my rear end and maybe hook up and paint my intake with 500% gray paint...Oh yeah and get my bed done, has all these nasty bubbles....I seen some of that Herculier bed roll on at Paramount outdoor swapmeet at one of those car spots for like $60.00 hole kit...

Found this footage of Project Elko at the Rare El Camino Run 2011...Motivated me!!!! Footage all focused on my baby.. 😢 😢 😢 brings tears to my eyes..She was shining beautifuly that day!!!you can hear peeps saying in the back ground of vid my elko is hot and looks super clean...makes me feel good on how far i have gotten with her..I love you Project ELko!!!! ME and u forever!!!!!

Well still nothing new going on...did a hood job on the intake...quick spray job..looks good...at my bro in laws shop..working on my Durango hemi out !!! Lmao..changing front calipers/pads/and rotors...somethings tripping when u brake on her...jumping all over the place and rotors look like sh*t...crazy thing is me and my bro in law just changed calipers and rotors 1yr ago..and they done..good thing I have life time warrty with autozone. So this is my Saturday..lol :wink:

So i want to change out my Speed o Meter..Dont know if my speed gauge is bad yet, but when i accelerate the needle jumps up and down till i get to about 30mph... i got the transmission working good, i notice on the freeway it wont go pass 55mph...But I know im going way faster than that!!!! im probley hitting 75-80 mph and the needle is stuck at 55mph...hahahahaha...

Removing it from the dash is easy..i did notice it being dirty and dusty when the cable goes into the back of the dash..oily and dirty..i cleaned it the best i could and it still does the same thing!!

Ok so when i remove the cable from the transmission will i get all this transmission fluid coming out?

I know its something simple, but would like n e ones help..i hope transmission fluid dosent come out, and i hope my guage works fine after that..if not should i get after market gauge and remove the ones i dont need>? like volts/oil? since i got them below my radio??

well u might lose a little but in reality you should lose none if the seal is good. your speedo might just need to be lubed up but if not maybe its time to do the aftermarket cluster deal....where you can put the tach and speedo in withe fuel etc....
