The engine is as low as possible in the chassis. Man this engine is a tight fit in every direction.

Rear suspension

Belltech 1” lowering springs
UMI adjustable upper arms
UMI boxed lower arms
UMI shock tower brace
UMI control arm braces
Hellwig 1” sway bar with 7/16” bolts
Braced 9” Ford with Currie 9+ 31 spline axles, Strange LSD, Richmond 3.00 gears, Summit nodular housing with daytona pinion carrier, billet yoke, 3” chromoly drive shaft with Sonnax TH400 yoke

Should all be good for boost later on

Since I’m on vacation this week I’m getting stuff done.
Front jounce bars, 32mm T/A sway bar with urethane bushings.
Alternator and power steering pump and all pulleys.
Pulled and pressure washed fuel tank.

Thanks. I'm not doing much cosmetically under the car or elsewhere for that matter. Getting rid of surface rust and grease buildup is about the limit. I turn 50 in November and my days of nitpicking that stuff are long gone. This one is a driver. Should be fired up in a few weeks or less.

I can tell you that with the suspension I ended up installing that the 15 inch rims ain't likely to cut it for long. It will probably shove the front end straight through the curves.

What fuel sender is that? Ive never seen one like that. I assume it's a stock Malibu tank...
