good thing is if you want to take a trip somewhere you could alwasy switch but if you get an od trans it solves that problem lol..... :mrgreen:
 
does the guy have any blocks, heads, etc. that he's trying to get rid of? I'm in Atlanta but went to college at Davidson so I'm up that way pretty often esp if i can get a deal on some parts...what part of NC is he in?

@ 80elcaminoflake and Davev i really want some 3.73 cause i know it would pull like crazy and i can image the burn outs but im ready to start enjoying my baby again so im gonna push these 2.73 and hope i got enough torque to to still have some get up and go,i could spin the tires on the 20s and onelegger before my engine upgades i should be good.

No he didnt have any engine or trans.But anything else interior or bodywise he gots and for every gbody model.He could build about 6-7 with the parts he has.

+ in the mean time you get to save some gas money while you cruise to save up for a paint job and all kinds of other stuff so thats cool. Have you gotten to drive that bad boy yet?

Hope to drive it atleast on my block by sunday,she been down since march when I started to take it apart,deffinitly saving for paint now wanna have her in the shop by january got qouted $2500 for my paint job in the summer ,in january its cold and these shop aint getting much work so hope to slide in then and maybe save a few hundred.
 
I bet you cant wait to finally be able to even just take it down the block its gonna feel good, I had my car down for a couple months before march but didnt start doing anything until around the same time as you and even tho it looks like sh*t i just want to drive it already :rofl:

that $$$ dont sound to bad at all, are you getting any mods on the body or straight body work and repaint? are you stickin with the same color?

Actually im probly dreamin the price might be closer to 3000 now cause i decided im going with tucked fiberglass bumpers and he gonna have to french in my cadillac taillights im giong with and welding a small rust spot behind my drivers door .But how they say down south will get'er done.
