The car looks great!

This is by far one of the best looking Malibus I've ever seen. That paint looks awesome with those wheels. Great job man :notworthy:

Rodney,
The wheels really make the car pop. The new cowl hood is a vast improvement over that exaggerated cowl hood. The car looks more in proportion. Overall it looks absolutely awesome. Nice work!

I love that color. I think all gbodys look good in silver.

Thanks fellas! It is all starting to come together, that is for sure!!! I honestly dont think I could have asked for the car to look any better overall (stance wise, etc. Few small paint imperfections but Im my own worst critic there, and very hard on myself).

I do appreciate all the comments!!!

Alright, picked up some seats today. They need recovered obviously but that was a given. Guy actually delivered them to me for 75.00 total. I had to TIG the two front legs back on, as he could not get in there to get the rusted bolts off.

The daughter also asked me to put the seat in the car, so we did, and sat in it for a while. Man it was cool setting in the drivers seat, with my little buddy in the passenger side ready to rip roll and breathe fire! Love that kid!!

Also picked up the 4 inch Glasstek bolt on. Way more impressed with the fitment on it then on the Harwood I had.

Props for sharing your enthusiasm with your daughter. I have cars for all three kids: 3yo, 6yo, 8yo. Now if I could scale back the scope of work so they could help without risk of death. Y'know, coil spring compressors, engine hoists...

I dug up an old post by ssbrewskiaz from last fall. He may have a nice set of seat brackets for sale, if they aren't already gone...

Well it would seem that last weekends rebuilding of the seat tracks was a waste of time. Got out to the shop this Saturday morning and was sitting there pondering when I noticed the seat tracks still mounted to the seats I trial fitted in the car a couple of months ago. How can this be, I just spent last Saturday rebuilding a set of adjusters I thought were the pieces I was using. Turns out, they were the pair that came with the purchase of the seats. Not that this is any news flash, Camaro adjusters don't work on stock G-Body mounts. Well then, I have a nice pair to sell when I start selling off the left overs.

Today I got the hood fit, and tonight after work I shot the primer on the final parts! Planning on wet sanding the hood and mirrors tomorrow, then hopefully shooting base coat tomorrow night after work, and clear on wed morning.
