Got dual needle and seat bowls in. Cleaned the carb. Motor should be going to the dyno in a week or two.
Started stripping the interior for the cage
Started taking out body mount bolts. Tried 4 so far. Passenger and driver side furthest back by rear bumper came out fine and bolts looked amazingly good for 38 years old. The next two forward, the cage nut spun... So yay.

When did you get a carb?I am using the "if I don't look, everything is fine approach".
When did you get a carb?
I have never seen a float bowl like that on a Holley before. What is the advantage to going with a dual needle and seat in each float bowl??
Yea man. A 0.140 single needle and seat carb can only flow about 800-900HP worth of E85. Dual needles are needed.Educated guess.... E85 and the need for more of it.
I have been like that about them since I have owned the car, but I figure we are going to be swisscheesing the whole car anywhen when putting in the cage.... whats a few more holes lol.I am using the "if I don't look, everything is fine approach".
I think your car has a defective floor, I can't see your garage floor. 😉
