Ah, do you think you're going to be able to get it to launch in the 5800 range? I gotta say from watching your video, it hooked pretty well on that pass. A smaller pulley and more rpm's is going to require you knock 10 degrees out of it on the hit lol.

You're giving me hope though, I'm only 3 mph slower but almost .9 of second slower. My 60 is somewhat pathetic.

I would never set the 2 step up at 5800.

I actually am conservative on timing. Set at 34-35 and I'm pulling 1* per psi. I also pull 2-3 degrees right at peak torque (stall). If I get rid of the retard at peak torque and not pull any timing till 5psi it's gunna be spicy.

It will probably trap at 148-150 on full tilt boogy.

I have to ask, one pass - did you get the boot?

150 on 3.89 gears - you're planning to spin this over 7500? I'm hoping the answer is 'hell yeah!'

And after re-watching this - wow :)

I made 4 passes. 1st one had to be aborted. First 10 cars down the track spun at 150ft out. It looked like there was so much pollen on the track that where they stopped prepping was like trying to drive on dust. One guy ahead of me ended up swapping lanes and I blew the tire off. I met my dad in the pits after and he said right after I went they held the lanes and went out and prepped some more. 2nd pass I foot braked it off idle, and I accidentally started in 2nd :blam:... I didnt even realize until I looked at my data logs and noticed only one shift. It ran a 9.6x @138. Next pass I left off the trans brake (in first!) at 3000 rpm and it ran 9.5x @140 with a 1.38 60'. Last pass(in the video) I left off the trans brake at 3500 RPM and it ran a 9.4x @ 141 with a 1.35 60'.

Converter is only showing ~4% slip right now. It will increase with another 150hp. I shouldnt have to spin it to 7500 to get to 150. Right now I am at almost 142 at 7000. Either way the motor is gunna have to do, what the motor is gunna have to do lol
