yea, it was just big enough to fit the intakes in it. As for the cover, yes..that is all i Pcd

hate to see the setbacks on the engine, been there/done that-probably be there again!

everything is looking great, still goes to show that a great car CAN be done in a garage, even without having to have years at doing it professionally.

Powder coating is looking good.

more powder coating work, sandblasting...yes slavery to the young ones!!!

Rotating assembly internally balanced, and assembled!! Getting closer, the cometics showed up today, so the heads get installed next. Got the balancer clear powder coated. It was very cool looking being billet machined steel....TR6 high energy ignition system, and two step rev limiter with the LS coil is all ready to go!!

Can't help but comment here. As a Canadian licensed mechanic with 17 years on the bench, I am astounded by the caliber of work displayed here. Even after your engine setbacks (which would have had some folks running screaming!), you keep coming back & knocking it out of the park!

Thanks on the compliments.

The engine came back today and got put into the cradle and mated to the trans. I need to slow down so I get done around good weather...

LOTS of work done to get the GN ready with engine 3.0. All new ignition system with the TR6 which includes an integrated 2 Step

it utilizes LS1 coils

Installed a Canton Racing oil filter with a AN fitting to braided steel line directly to the turbo. Finely filtered oil to the turbo, not going to replace anymore turbos

Installed a fuel transducer off the fuel rail so my power logging system can log fuel pressure

Wired in the alcohol injection controls into the dash versus a control box for a cleaner look....then broke off a couple connections....so to order new controls

Damn thing had so much dust from sitting I had to clean it up for a drive. Not too bad, needed some tweaking

This 2-step switch will be installed into my brake pedal on the left side. Ill drill a hole into the pedal. When staging ill hold the two step with my left foot, while power breaking and building boost....then when off the brake...bam.

Here is the car engine bay after I have custom wired some Taylor wires to my liking. I had some livewires that were damn near fluorescent yellow which looked terrible. I was able to make some 90* LS1 boots to make the wires at the coil much more appealing.

2 step wired into the brake pedal...check...

Alky injection control panel installed and it looks very nice, like it was originally installed there.
