AND!!! The fat lady is singing loud and proud! Idle is good, oil pressure after I ported the timing cover is excellent at 21 psi hot idle, O2 readings in the high 700's after closed loop, fans running at the right temp, Ignition module with LS technology is running correctly, 2 Step is operational...life is good, everything seems pretty OK with engine #3!!! A lot of blood sweat and tears in this bad boy. Now some good weather will help.

This is all BUILT NOT BOUGHT! Only thing I did buy was machine work.

Vote for me this month in GBOTM if you like this build and feel I deserve!!

Well she got re-invented again! We took the hot air aspect out of the car and took it inter cooled. I was sick and tired of throwing money into the car to make it something it couldnt be. To make a long story short, hot air cars are hard to keep the air charge cool, they go through turbo seals when pushing lots of CFM, they knock and ping when the air charge is hot, regardless of how much methanol I sprayed.... I was just not enjoying the car any longer. So now it all got converted. I show the stock intake, and then the one that has been ported....huge difference. I also upgraded down pipe, 70mm accufab TB, 75MM plenum, new electronics, lightweight pulleys, increased ignition, 4" intercooler, MFS6262 turbo, 4" cold air kit. She peals the tires at 55mph and 20lb of boost. I'm gonna wait till we tune it to reach 28-30lb and see what it does in October at the GS nats.

There ya have it, you should have no issues with spark blowing out under boost.

I am running LS truck coils on mine.
