Thanks again dave! nothing like driving a clean elco. A friend of mine needed some work done on her el camino and she let me take it for a spin after I got it back on the road. Man it felt so good I wanted to trade her straight across for my gas saving corolla but my wife would have killed me. That 5 mile ride got me even more motivated to get mine running. I dont even care about the pretty parts anymore lol

thanks bro! i'm not a big fan of pinstriping I just wanted something simple. Chavo's is a really good pinstriper, one of the best in phoneix. It took him about 15 mins to do everything and it only cost me $80. on second thought $80 for 15 mins worth of work... I think i'm in the wrong business lol

I did pick up some more trim from my polisher yesterday.

Front Window Trim
Rear Window Trim
Headlight Trim Rings
Rocker Panel Trim
Trim for 1/4 Window Post Area

I'll be dropping off more later this week Now I see why some guys dechrome there cars. These polishing/chroming prices are starting to get expensive...But in the words of my good friend warren "I gotta have it"

Sweet Baby Jesus!!! Ol boy is nice with it fam! He did a helluva job. Looks like they were chromed! Cant wait to get mine all done. The pieces Skip gave me are really clean. I can sport em for now and cut buff the paint til Im ready for paint. Cant wait to get out there and see everything..

Man mel!!!! All this is bringing back Memories when I was hooking project Elko all up...I bet u can't even sleep at night, I know I couldn't wait to get up in morning to start putting all trim back...have fun...and don't use those micro fiber towels...hahahaha dayum towels scratching all my trim!!!
