man this project is coming out nice from the jump. i love the west coast we all help each other out and thats what its all about. 80zbabiez crew is repping hard. those wells are looking sexy and thats something you dont say about plastic wells

Thank u sir!! The 80z crew is def going hard this year. Don't think I can thank kuruption or Warren enough for all they have contributed to my new build

Workin on em right now. Laid some filler over the filled holes. I didnt do this step on the SS' wells. This will fill in all the lil scratches from sanding as well as pits and grooves in the the epoxy. Lettin it dry and then i'll sand it smooth, clean it up and shoot some filler primer over the whole well.

Got both wells cleaned and sprayed with filler primer. Imma let this dry for a few days outside in the sun and then start the sanding process...

"Filler Primer".Fills in all th lil pit and fine scratches left from the sanding process. This is where I will dry sand from 320 up to 600, and then wet sand from 800 up to 2000.

Lookin' good man! You've got more work in those wheel houses than most people put into their body prep...
Nice job!

Hey Mel,
Where did you get that delete plate? What is the process for removing AC system? everywhere I look it says to get pros to drain the system. The ac on my elco has never worked but it has all lines intact and I doubt theres really any refridgerant in it. The belt to run the compressor was removed by the PO and he gave me a new one in the box, it says its been converted to r-12 if that makes any difference. I just want to be safe, I am doing an engine swap right now and i want to delete the ac.

Thanks

x2 on that statement above. Mel them wells are show quality, its not to much more you can do to plastic. you hit the lotto on that there

Thanks, I can't take any credit for the wheel wells. elcoWARREN is the man that's making it happen! He is the epoxy king / The king of detail....lol. I have been busy remodeling my guest bathroom and haven't had time to mess with my rides. I did manage to pickup a center console (that needs some minor repairs), a set of bed rails, and I found time to recover my headliner. Next week I'll be working up north at a friends house in exchange for another elco. I'll part that one out and use the cash to get more done to brwnSug2.0

I picked up the delete plate from ebay. My ac system was not hooked up in my ride so there was nothing to drain. They say its not "safe" for the environment to drain the system on your own. I don't think a shop would charge u much to drain it. If there is no pressure in the line you should be able to drain it yourself. Just be careful not to breathe in any of the gases
