Lugnuts came into, almost read to drop her back on her own weight. Looking good with the open ended lugs too.

From these pics its obvious to tell I cleaned up the rims and tires a lot, removed 90% of the brake dust that was stuck to them, and removed the orangish color on the lettering on the tires. One M/T is still a little dirty tried to clean it twice, but the others look awesome. Having problem cleaning up one rim, its almost like it lost its shine. Gonna try mothers mag and aluminum wheel polish and see if it brings it back to life. Cant wait to see how the rear and front tires tuck into the fenders, the rears look like they might hit the lip on a hard launch but well see might roll the insides.

If your looking for lugnuts, http://myworld.ebay.com/lugking2005/?_trksid=p4340.l2559 The LugNutKing on Ebay has some great prices on the lugs got all 20 + a spare lug and 5 spare washers for 28$ including shipping it initially was 33$ but since I bought two sets together he refunded me 5$. Def the cheapest lugs i've ever seen. Gonna finish boxing up the control arms soon when school lets me have time to take a sh*t... 100hrs a week + 20 at work kills me. After boxing up the rear gonna start frame bracing and soon rebuild the trans with a transgo shift kit. If anyone has used their kits for racing before let me know gonna do the full manual reprogramming shift kit with optional autoshifting.

I dont want to ruin the rims with tightening the lugs too much, usually I just gun em on. This time I want to torque them down. Lugs require 75lbs right?

I would tq them to 100lbs...Then check them in about 30 miles or so, they will probably need tightened up again...Looking great btw!!

"Obviously, all lug nuts and studs must be in place. For slower cars, this isn’t a critical point, especially when using O.E.M. wheels. But with faster cars and aftermarket wheels, the concern is that the lug nut engage the threads of the stud for a distance at least equal to the diameter of the stud. Inquire at your local track as to what the tech inspector will accept."

I had based it off of this, im running rear bolt on wheel spacers which dont have an option for longer studs that I know of, I know bolt on spacers are legal, but well see when I get to the track.

I think Weld says to torque their wheels to 80-85 depending on if you use anti seize. I'd say you're fine the way it is, I haven't had any inspector look at the threads on my lug nuts.

How fast do you plan on going with the car? I forget what time it is, but maybe faster than 12 seconds you need to use screw in tire valve stems instead of the rubbers. Don't know why but I did just to be safe.

Yea the bolt in stems, I just got these because I couldn't find any local shops that had the stems. Faster than 11.50 I believe requires them
