I'm pretty sure your gonna have to modify the back half of your gauge housing...Post some pics if you do. I will be doing this soon myself:)

I haven't put it in yet was still ripping apart wiring behind dash. I tried to untangle the rats nest of a wiring harness when a drunk friend made me realize I dont need any of the steering column wiring for racing. So I threw it and started wiring up basics

All put in, not wired yet was waiting on firewall grommets which i finally got. All connections to be soddered, and wire loomed through grommets, im done with butt connectors when sodering is just as fast and 100x stronger

Hoping the trans gauge line is long enough to reach the trans.

Going to try something new, i think it will work. Let me know what you all think

-Refer to picture two, the defrost switch, i believe the switch is a switch that when triggered stays on until the off throw is pushed i forget the name of the switch type. Single pole dual throw? Well im eliminating the key in the column so im going to use the switch hooked to a relay as my "ignition accessory". It will be like turning the key forward, but hidden. Then i will put either a start button somewhere, or depending on how this switch works, I might be able to hook this button up to the starter and use it as the start button but then I have to discover a way to do a accessory positive.

To be able to switch it on, hit a starter button and start the car then switch the defroster to off and kill the car would be pretty cool overall i think. I just hate this igntion in the steering column and the lock for the cylinder broke so its either this or a removable lock key and cylinder haha

when you say "track car" do you mean circle track or drag or road race?

That is one nice looking car. I really like the gauges too. Keep up the good work man.
