Awesome project. I like seeing the riv's get some love. That Buick 455 carb is exactly what I need for my 455 swap in my 85 regal. Too bad those damn speed camera tickets got me broke as a joke for a while. All I got to finish is a few gauges and the power steering pump and it's ready to fire and break in.

If you need the Buick carb when I'm done let me know. I won't give it away, but I won't hit you over the head either.

I'd like to change the rear shocks when I get off work today. The car has self-leveling suspension and the rear shocks are shot. Not sure if the on board compressor works yet, but when I put air to the schader valve on it, you can hear air blowing through the drivers side shock.

It also has a bad vacuum canister on the distributor so that's going to get changed soon too.

air shocks out today. Rides like a different car now. The original plan was to utilize the auto leveling system but it's now working. For now it's air shocks with manual adjustment.

Changed the front shocks, painted the carb with some of Eastwood' silver carb paint and installed some gauges in the radio bezel. I didn't want to just mount them under the dash like most people do and it worked out pretty well. Not knowing the engine temp/oil pressure was driving me nuts.

This car is really growing on me! I got the exhaust done and it's a completely different car now. Do to the unique exhaust manifolds and limited room for exhaust, I had to run a single pipe from the manifold and split it from the muffler. It's a Thrush full welded, nothing too expensive. Sounds pretty good though.
