Place 120# on the rear end and you will see the drop the 5401 will provide over the 5409.
Side note... Just because the box has a certain part number that doesn't mean that's what is inside. Confirm dimensions from the Moog catalog.
That will just about be perfect AFAIC - thank you. I stopped at the local circle track shop and was looking at a set of AFCO's and adjustable hats to get another 1" down. That was close to a $175 setup/program. I can get a set of 5401's for $55.

And I'll measure as well (y)

Just noticed that I commandeered this thread for the past page or so ( oops ).

Hopefully Mac442 doesn't mind some good info from Macguyver.

BTW - just hit buy on the 5401's - results soon(ish).

I got the 5401's installed and it dropped about an inch from the 5409's. Which is about 1.5-2" lower than the 'stock' springs. "Stock' meaning that was what came in the swap rolling frame/chassis '86 MC that the frame came from - I'm guessing stock. The drop is just what I was after!

I'd post a pic if I would've taken one that was worth a crap, but I didn't ;)

Adding 5401's to my rock auto cart :)

I wish they were a little higher spring rate but looking I agree the 5409's are probably too much.

Cheaper on Amazon - $55+ tax - no shipping.

I just ordered a pair of the 5401's from my employer. I already have a pair of A body rear drop springs, and a pair of Eibach rear drop springs. I have options, but it looks like these 5401 spring are what I'm looking for. Thank you guys for bringing this "much talked about" topic up again. Thanks to Mac for posting the Moog part #.

I also ordered the 5401's (the last set in stock for now) from that jungle website.

The Rock wanted $71 shipped and the Jungle website wanted $60 after tax and free ship.
